Organize your Craft2

Updated: Feb 12, 2019

After having some embroidery stabilizers around for nearly a decade (yes I threw some of the out), and some which I couldn't immediately identify what type they were, I decided to "organize" the stabilizers. I had also purchased some new ones and now there had to be a good way to know which was which and have them all in a semi-central location for easy access. As you may or may not know, depending on your relationship with the embroidery craft, various fabric and designs mean different stabilizers. So it is not unusual to have several types of stabilizers around for use.

Most stabilizers come in either sheets or in a roll. I took advantage of the core of the roll to label the different stabilizers. Using a standard sticky type label you can buy at any office supply store, I wrote the type of stabilizer onto the label and then stuck the label on the inside of the core of the roll. It's easily readable even when you stack them on a shelf....easy and yet organized and effective. Always think outside the box when it comes to organizing your craft and it will help make your business more productive and efficient....
